What is gematria numerology

gematria numerology is an ancient system of numerology based on the Hebrew alphabet. Gematria numerology originated in ancient Jewish tradition, where numbers were given special significance. The practice of Gematria is still practiced today, although it is most commonly associated with divination and occult practices.

Numerologists who practice Gematria believe that each letter of the Hebrew alphabet has a numerical equivalent that can be used to interpret names, words and phrases. For example, the first letter of the Alphabet (Aleph) has a numerical equivalency of 1, while the last letter (Taw) has a value of 400.

The calculation process used in Gematria numerology involves adding up the numerical values from each letter in a word or phrase and then arriving at an overall result. For example, if someone wants to calculate the spiritual significance of their name "Judah", they would add together its Gematria values: Aleph = 1 + Vav = 6 + Dalet = 4 + Hay = 5

In this case, the total would be 16.

Gematria numerology goes beyond just names; it can also be used to interpret entire words or phrases. This system is especially popular among occultists and mystics as it provides a way to measure the energetic vibrations associated with certain words and phrases. For example, "faith" can be calculated as follows: Aleph = 1 + Yud = 10 + Hay= 5 + Tet= 9 yielding a total of 25 which is seen as being highly indicative of faithfulness and trustworthiness.
